Southern Jet streams flew across Peninsula India. These interact with moisture and surface heating thus triggering hybrid thunderstorms & intense convective bursts
Result?
- Highly dynamic atmosphere
- Upper level winds enhance the vertical motion
This leads to
- intense thunderstorms
- large hail in some pockets
- strong gusty winds
