How? Learn👇🏻
1. IR & CA
• War & Conflicts, Disputes, strategic locations are all favs of UPSC
• Keep either digital or lose sheet prints of India/World Maps ready
• Be it newspaper or online, plot places on map and mark regions around it from internet.
eg: 10 months before Pre24, I shared SAHEL on map & guess what? you had a direct Q!
TIP: Plot all major countries of Africa on African map and have a rough visual memory of every country to know what's where, it helps!

2. Indian Maps
Cover mountains, rivers, passes, & other physical features
• Refer 11-12 Geography NCERTs & plot ALL physical features on physical maps (both India & world)
• Use blank maps to practice for active recall
• Tip: Use internet to run through prominent features of non-famous places
small eg: see images, you can spot direct Qs from these in 2024 Pre

3. General Mapping tips
• Till Pre 25, visualize maps any atlas daily 10-15 mins before sleeping (can also refer to world/India map on your wall, if any)
• High impact areas: North/Red/Black/Caspian Sea, Africa, Indo-Pacific islands
• for India, know independent rivers flowing into BoB or Arabian Sea
