#3: How to improve CSAT score?
Some practical Tips
CSAT is now proving to be lethal in UPSC dream of many serious aspirants.
How do YOU ensure to not be one of those who miss out on writing Mains because of stats? Here are some practical tips!
First, the science of CSAT Math
Drill this in your mind: You need JUST 66/200 to get your way (JUST 33%). Therefore, no question deserves your egoistic attention.
Can’t solve it? Move on!
Secure at least 50 marks in the very first hour of the exam by doing what you know.
Second, the strategy
Solve last 5 PYQs (one every week for next 5 weeks)
Once done, analyze your weak sections; prepare a list
Work on 1 such topic 20 minutes daily (~120 minutes/2 hours a week)

Maintain Excel sheet (as shown in image) to track your progress
How to optimize this sheet for the best use?
In comments, write what worked/helped/new trick/formula
Add more fields to personalize this sheet like [PYQ attempted], [Avg time taken], [score] (this is just a sample)
Update this sheet daily after your 20 minutes daily practice
