• enhance aquaculture productivity
• 55 lac employment opportunities
• 2x exports to ₹1,00,000 crore

b) Aquaparks

An Aquapark is multipurpose seaweed park to study diverse seaweed species

These species absorb nutrients & CO2,

reduce acidification & thus improve water quality

5 such parks to be setup

2. Rooftop Solarization

Govt focus on solar energy is world known!

• 20% population lacks electricity access

• PM Suryodaya Yojana to solarize 1 crore household rooftops to enable 300 unit free electricity access

(Special focus: Rural areas)

3. Oil Seeds Revolution

Vegetable oil economy: US>China>Brazil>India

(India 4th largest)

•India imports edible oil worth ₹1,35,000 crore per annum

• Aim: reduce dependency from 60% to 30% by 2029

Thus, budget speaks about raising oil seed production!

4. Deep tech in defense

• ₹1,00,000 crore for RnD in defense tech

• Focus on developing robot soldiers & exoskeletons

Not too far from robots replacing human soldiers in tough places like Siachen, Kutch & Jaisalmer

5. Cervical Cancer Vaccine

Common cancers in Indian women: Breast Cancer>Cervical Cancer

• Caused by Human Papilloma Virus (HPV)

• Low awareness & limited access keeps HPV high

• Viksit Bharat aims to eliminate HPV; vaccination for girls 9-14 yrs age
