Indian Express beautifully simplified the approach to #UPSC CSAT in a recent article shared by an expert from UPSC & IIM background

1. King that is Reading Comprehension (RC)👑

• 25-27 Qs sure shot from RC
• Practice these here to aim to get 20+ correct
• Solve these first to secure mind in the real exam
• Use PYQs on RC to 'respect' CSAT only as a qualifying paper

2. Aim for 100 marks, always!

Why? To land in comfortable range and confirm #UPSC Mains ticket

How?👇🏼

• Aim to attempt 45-50 Qs ONLY
• Train yourself to get 20-22 of these from RC
• Strategize to get rest score from other sections

Note: I am working on 3 step process to ease CSAT for #UPSC aspirants

1. CSAT Doc (Download from point no. 3 👉🏼https://telegram.me/csewhy/168)

2. Watch video sharing how I cracked CSAT 2023 paper

3. Coming soon!

3. Reasoning Strategy

• Identify the high impact areas
• Some are: Coding-decoding, roots (square & cube)
• Becoming tricky to answer, practice JUST enough to secure qualifying marks

4. Quantitative Aptitude

Believed to be main culprit for most aspirants

• Focus on certain topics & solve 20-30 diff Qs on each to get hang of it
• Topics you can avoid: Number system, speed distance, PnC & %

Important notes:

• Above strategy would work only with enough practice
• Practice every weekend for 3-4 months if you are new to it

Summarising:
• RC is a MUST
• Focus on securing 100 marks
• Find out which of the reasoning or quants, can you handle better; double down on it

The above strategy has been shared by @DeepanshuS27 sir in Indian Express
