1. How does Quantum Computing work?🤨

- Aim: To boost the computational power of the system
- Harnesses strange, counterintuitive quantum physics principles
- Not an upgrade of conventional computing but redefined computing

2. How is it SO Fast? 🤔

- When you toss a coin, it will show either a head or a tail BUT
- If you spin the coin, it will simultaneously show head & tail
- Quantum Computing works on qbits that can show 0 & 1 simultaneously unlike 0 or 1 in conventional computing

Such is the power of this concept that Google's latest quantum is 241 million times faster than one it released in 2019

3. Applications of quantum computing😍

- Increase global trade
- Optimize supply chain to minimize the carbon emissions
- Discover solutions to fatal diseases in form of vaccines & drugs
- Transform energy storage with discovery of new molecular structures

4. India and Quantum | National Quantum Mission (2023-2031) 🇮🇳

- 6,000 cr amount to be spent
- u/ Dept of SnT to get India ready for the Quantum Technology
- Key focus on application in communication, space, and multi-node network
- Only 7th country to have a dedicated mission; only 2nd eastern country (after China)

5. Disadvantages😢

- High cost but limited application
- Quantum powered AI can be threat to manking
- High sensitivity towards environment where slight change in temperature and other factors can cost heavy
