1. Nagarhole National Park (Also a TR)

- Part of Nilgiri BR in KA
- aka Rajiv Gandhi NP
- River Nagarhole (Kabini's tributary) flows through NP
- Home to elephants, mouse deer, leopard, wild dog etc.

2. Papikonda NP

- Spread over East-West Godavari district of AP
- Find Godavari river and Papikonda hills here
- Mouse deer, tigers, gaurs etc. seen

3. Satyamangalam TR

- Link b/w W-E Ghats
- Located in TN, part of Nilgiri BR
- Genetic link b/w BR Hills WS, Sigar plateau, Mudumalai & Bandipur NP

4. Wayanad WS

- Part of Nilgiri BR
- Kabini river flows (Cauvery's tribuatry)
- Contiguous to TR of Nagarhole, Bandipur and Mudumalai

5. Kanha NP

- Largest NP of MP
- Home to Barasingha (Bhoorsingh Barasingha mascot), Bengal Tiger etc.
- Halon and Banzar rivers flow here

6. Manas NP

- Assam
- It is UNESCO WHS, TR, BR, Elephant Reserve
- On Indo-Bhutan borders, Manas river flows here

7. Mudumalai NP

- At tri-junction of KA, KL, TN
- Part of Nilgiri BR, it means ‘an ancient range’
- This range is 65 mn years old (as old as western ghats)
- Flagship: Tiger and Asian Elephant

8. Tal Chhapar WS

- Talchhapar blackbuck sanctuary, Rajasthan
- Home to blackbuck; used to be hunting ground of Bikaner royal family
- Black Buck is state animal of Punjab, Haryana and AP

9. Askot WS

- Askot, Pithoragarh, UK
- Created for Musk deer (Askot Musk Deer WS official name)
- Dhauli and Ikli river originate here and Gori Ganga passes through it

10. Kishanpur WS

- Part of Dudhwa TR in UP
- Tiger, Chital, Hog deer etc. found here
- Sharda (tributary of Ghaggar) flows through here

11. Gangotri NP

- Uttarkashi district, UK
- Home to Gaumukh, origin of river Ganga
- Home to endangered species like musk deer, snow leopard, Himalayan Thar etc.

12. Corbett NP

- aka Ramganga, Hailey NP
- On banks of Ramganga Reservoir and river flows through it

13. Ranthambore NP

- Near Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan
- Padam Tao Lake known for abundant water lilies
- Banas and Chambal Rivers

14. Nagarjuna Srisailam TR

- Largest TR in India, home to Nallamala hills
- Krishna basin, Srisailam and Nagarjunasagar reservoirs

15. Sunderbans

- Coastal Mangrove forests shared by Bangladesh & India
- Home to Royal Bengal Tiger, Indian python, Gangetic Dolphin and Estuarine crocodile
