• Bring down logistics cost to globally competitive standards

  

Need of Logistics Policy/Challenges

• Current scene highly focused on road freights (roadblock to Net Zero by 2070)

• Rail freight hardly at 20% in 2022 (60% in 1980)

• Stagnant Infrastructure (avg freight train speed 25 kmph)

• Inefficient Port Infrastructure (0 ports in top 20 + Low Turnaround time)

• Opportunity in Inland Waterways and Air freight management

• Development of Logistics Park

• Single portal for all transportation related digital services

• Open source platform

4. E-LogS: Dashboard for Ease of Logistics Services

• For ease of services b/w govt and industry

• Speedier resolution
